The inclusion, classification, or appearance of any company within SecWaypoint does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, or warranty of the service quality, reliability, financial viability, or security posture of that provider. 3. Directory Submissions and Suggested Edits
When submitting new company profiles, suggesting edits, or claiming a profile on SecWaypoint:
- You warrant that all submitted data is accurate, truthful, and representative of legitimate commercial services.
- You agree not to impersonate any individual, corporate officer, or entity.
- You grant SecWaypoint a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to publish, display, format, and categorize the submitted business details across the directory.
- SecWaypoint reserves the absolute editorial discretion to approve, edit, reclassify, or decline any submission or revision.
4. Intellectual Property and Nominative Fair Use
The compilation, database architecture, design system, taxonomy structure, and editorial descriptions created by SecWaypoint are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Third-party company names, product names, logos, and trademarks referenced in the directory are the intellectual property of their respective owners. Their reference on SecWaypoint is strictly for identification and nominative fair use purposes to accurately describe cybersecurity products and providers to the public.
5. Acceptable Use and Restrictions
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:
- Automated mass-scraping or data harvesting of the directory for commercial resale or building competing commercial databases without prior written authorization.
